Predictive hepatoxic assay for safe and efficacious
compounds development. The Organoid Lab has established high-content parameters
to assess dose-dependent toxicity in normal liver organoids. Renal toxicity can
also be performed on request.
An example shown is a high-throughput drug screening on a
pair of liver cancer and normal liver PDOs. A panel of 100 drugs was tested (85 FDA
approved cancer drugs and 15 pipeline compounds targeting frequently mutated
cancer pathways).
